tangled.workは、裁縫や編み物の深い実践知を、誰もが試せる道具へ変えていく小さなプロジェクトです。最初のツールKatagamiは、オープンベータとして開発中の機能を無償で公開します。
完成した答えを配るのではなく、実際につくる人と一緒に、長く使える道具へ育てていきます。

tangled.work is a small project turning deep, practical knowledge of sewing and knitting into tools anyone can explore. Our first tool, Katagami, is available free of charge while it is in open beta.
We are not handing down a finished answer. We are growing useful, durable tools together with the people who make things.

個人の非商用利用と、教えることを主目的とするワークショップでは、Katagamiを自由に使えます。完成品の販売、受託制作、型紙PDFの販売・再配布、サービスへの組み込みには、用途に合った商用ライセンスを用意します。
Open for personal making. Licensed for commercial work.
Katagami is free for personal, non-commercial use and for workshops centered on teaching. Selling finished goods, commissioned pattern work, publishing pattern PDFs, or embedding Katagami in another service requires an appropriate commercial license.

私たちは、基本となる道具を利用料なしで提供し続けたいと考えています。そのための選択肢として、将来的にクラウドファンディングによる開発支援を検討しています。支援はツールを使うための条件ではありません。
Building a free-to-use future, with support.
Our aim is to keep the essential tools available without a usage fee. In the future, we may explore crowdfunding to support their development. Supporting the project will not be a requirement for using the tools.
